Volleyball Rebounds After First Conference

Tulane recieved their first conference loss of the season to Marshall this past Friday 3-0 (30-25, 30-21, 30-24), falling to 5-1 C-USA and 15-4 for the season.
Sophomore Ksenija Vlaskovic led in kills with 16 and Junior Bridget Wells was behind her with 10. Junior Luna Rebrovic and sophomore Rachel Lindlow each made 11 assists.
"Marshall proved tonight why they were the preseason favorite in Conference USA," head coach Liz Kritza. "It was a powerful performance by their team."
After getting bumped down to second place in conference, the Wave brought their vengeance on East Carolina University 3-1 (23-30, 30-18, 30-24, 30-27) on Sunday at Williams Arena.
Outside Hitter and C-USA Player of the Week Sara Radosevic hit a career best of 28 kills at a .447 percentage. Four players hit double-digit kills, and Tulane hit a .396 collectively.
"This team learned a very valuable lesson on this road swing. Even champions fall sometimes, but its how high you bounce that matters," Kritza said.
This Tuesday at 7 p.m., Tulane plays a non-conference mtch againt McNeese State at Fogelman Arena.

I'm not too familiar with College Volleyball. How does getting a bid to the NCAA tourney work? Is it conference winners plus at large? If so, it looks like this team is a postseason team if it can find a way to beat Marshall, or maybe even an at-large team.
