The Green Wave will be hoping that Homecoming 2007 turns out a little better than Homecoming last year, when the team was upset by SMU in its emotional post-Katrina return to the Superdome. All eyes will be on Matt Forte, and Memphis head coach Tommy West admitted he would stack the box in order to stop the run in order to get the Green Wave in 2nd and long and 3rd and long situations:
"It's no secret, if you don't stop their back, then they'll never throw it. You've got to try and load up to try and stop their back. The key to me is not necessarily make them throw it but get them in the down and distance you want them in where you know they have to (throw it) to be successful."
