UAB Players of the Game

It's simply perplexing to comprehend why Tulane keeps losing matches they should dominate, especially when some of its players post their best numbers in said matches. Saturday's 26-21 loss to UAB proved worrysome for the Green Wave, as it sets Tulane on a 3-game losing streak. That being said, here are the standout performances of the game:

1. Matt Forte (senior running back)- You've got to hand it to Forte: he's been having a great season. With 209 running yards in the game, Forte completed his second consecutive 200-plus yard games. With a total of 919 yards and nine touchdowns rushing on the season, Forte is set to break Tulane's single-season rushing record.

2. Anthony Scelfo (RS sophomore quarterback)- Scelfo posted a career-best 19 of 37 passes for a total of 264 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday. Yet, his efforts were not enought to finish off the Bulldogs, despite the fact that Tulane out-gained UAB 504-372.
