Tulane vs. Alabama State Second Half

The Wave win their 9th game of the year 69-60 and will take on the LSU Tigers in their next game on January 2nd.

1:56 Puckett draws the foul as he drives the lane. Tulane will now shoot two free throws the rest of the way. Puckett hits both free throws and the Wave lead 67-54

3:28 Sims is shaken up after a foul on the inbounds pass. Sims takes a minute to regain his composure as he will have a one and one at the other end. The front end is no good.

3:51 Puckett puts back a Stith miss and the Wave have their biggest lead of the game at 65-53

5:25 Sims makes up for his turnover by hitting a big three to push the lead to 9. An offensive foul on the other end by Chief gives the Wave the ball with just over five minutes left

17:59 After a State miss, Gomez finishes the fast break with a reverse layup to give the Wave a 37-28 lead. Alabama State calls a full timeout as the Wave look to pull away early. That's a 7-0 run to begin the half

18:30 Puckett drives to the hoop and lays it in for his first points of the game, Wave lead 35-28

18:56 The Wave have definitely turned up the intensity on the defensive end as they force their second turnover in as many possessions

19:13 Gomez with another opportunity for a three point play, Gomez converts and the Wave have their biggest lead of the game at 33-28
