Matt Forte finally got some recognition for his performances this season as he was named to the Associated Press All-American 3rd team. Forte was very deserving of this national recognition and will look to boost his stock in the Senior Bowl in January.
Meanwhile, freshman offensive lineman Andrew Nierman was an honorable mention in Sporting News' All-Freshman team.

I'm still shocked that NO other Division I program wanted Nierman after he paved the way for Joe McKnight at John Curtis.
