Tulane vs. UTEP First Quarter

Tulane wins the toss and elects to receive at the southern endzone.

The stadium is almost entirely empty, though the color-configuration on the stadium seats really is quite nice in an 80's sort of way.

Jose Martinez kicks it to the five, Tuyo breaks a few tackles and makes it to the thirty, but there's a flag.

10-yard penalty on Chris Dunn, illegal blocking.

Tuyo ran a total of 25 yards.

Forte runs to the outside and is tackled after a 12-yard run to the 32. Tulane first down.

Scelfo is in at QB, hands off to Forte for a 7-yard gain up the middle.

Another direct snap to Forte, loss of 2 yards, 3rd and 5.

Short pass to Jeremy Williams on the outside, first down. A gain of 6 yards to the 43.

Scelfo completes to Tyler Helm under pressure, 1-yard gain. 2nd and 9.

A near interception, bobbled by a UTEP defenseman into the waiting arms of Jeremy Williams for a 43-yard touchdown.

The extra-point it good.

Tulane fans make a good deal of noise in comparison to their scarcity.
