The men will look to improve to 2-0 as it faces Big South Conference member Charleston Southern tonight, which started its season with a win over Anderson College 85-74. Although they finished 9-22 and lost six players (including two of its leading scorers), the Bucs picked up a few good transfers and freshmen, including 5'10" freshman Jamarco Warren, a big-time scorer who will probably give the Green Wave fits the way Loyola's guards did in the exhibition game. He scored 24 points in the season opener, and freshman Omar Carter added 19 of his own. For more on the Bucs and the match up, check out the Colonel's game notes,Tulane's game notes , and the box score from last season's CSU vs. Tulane game.

In case you're wondering why Tulane would schedule a home-and-home Charleston Southern, head coach Dave Dickerson is a native of South Carolina and grew up in Olar, which is close to Charleston. This is a team that gave Tulane fits in Fogelman last season, and an upset is certainly not out of the question. Still, the Green Wave has more balance, size, depth, athleticism, and even shooting than CSU, and Dickerson will have his guys prepared to play.

Hullabaloo Prediction: Tulane 78, CSU 57

Also, the women's basketball team will be playing Georgia Tech in Fogelman tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. However, there will be good food and free giveaways before the game, so plan on getting their early.
