Conference USA Coaches Poll (Men picked 7th, Women 1st)

The men will begin a fairly tough non-conference schedule this Friday in Fogelman at 7 p.m. against the Auburn Tigers , who some call a sleeper to make the tournament out of the SEC. Hopefully history won’t repeat itself after last season’s 40-point opening night loss to Butler (which went on to have an outstanding season).

The women will start the season on the road against Alabama in Saturday before its home opener next week against Georgia Tech. Here are some pictures from the girls' practice to get you into full basketball mode, and I'll try to get out there for the guys' practice some time this week.
