Tulane vs. Houston 1st Half

It was a very sloppy first half by both teams but the Wave should take confidence into the locker room knowing they held the high-octane Cougars to just 27% shooting in the first half, and just 4-22 from three point range. However, if the Wave are to come away with the win, the 15 turnovers they committed in the first half can't be a trend. The Wave also must hit their free throws; they were just 5-14 in the half.

The Cougars are shooting just 22% from the floor while the Wave are shooting 40%. However, the Wave cannot convert on their free throw opportunites, hitting just 3-10 thus far.

Each team has not been very good with the basketball, the Wave are just 3-11 and the Cougars are 2-12. Each team has also committed 5 turnovers. The Wave will have to play without Gomez for the rest of the half.
