Baseball Falls to SELA, 12-11

Well I was way off about this being a low-scoring game. The Green Wave scored three runs in the ninth inning, but the game-tying run was gunned down at the plate and Tulane fell 12-11. Starter Jonathan Garret only lasted three innings, giving up two runs on five hits. But reliever Trey Martin and Preston Claiborne struggled mightily, giving up a combined 10 runs in four innings.

Tulane is now 1-4 away from Turchin-Greer, a disturbing fact to consider as conference play approaches. Still, a lot of the young players will continue to improve over the next few months.

This team has a lot of work to do before they start playing better conference teams. Let go Greenies. Roll Wave.

I agree and conference play won't help the rpi out a lot. I think this team is taking postseason play for granted.
